E-mail: root@fmeg.kpi.kharkov.ua, nazarko1@ukr.net

The investigation of the crystalline structure and electrical properties of the transparent ZnO:Al film, obtained by high-frequency magnetron sputtering method, was carried out. Optoelectrical properties of the transparent ZnO:Al films, which were obtained under different values of the temperature of substrate and working pressure in vacuum camera, were optimized. It is defined, that with increase of the pressure from 1 mbar to 20 mbar the specific electric resistance of the films is increasing due to the reduction of concentrations and mobilities of the main carriers of charge.

At an irradiation the occurrence two new ïðèìåñíûõ of levels of energy r and s both disappearance e and d-levels is observed. The centres s – analogues of the centres V2, and centres r are analogues of the V4-centres in KCl. The s-centres consist of two vacancies He, one ionised donor centre å and one hole. The centre å can be or inter-impurity atom of a lattice, or impurity atom ÐGa. the r-centres consist of two vacancies Ga, ionized atom of oxygen d, which borrows(occupies) a place of phosphorus, and holes. The table of energy levels of the impurity centres of the samples, not irradiated and irradiated with protons GaÐ, is constructed, in which the critical points of the first sort and respective them both points and axes of symmetry of a Brilluen’s zone of a crystal are given.

Hydrogen in the Metal as Bose Liquid

E.O. Paton Electric Welding Institute of the NAS of Ukraine
11, Bozhenko Str., Kyiv, 03150, Ukraine, tel/fax: (380 44) 227-23-66

The fact, established during direct experiment, of simultaneous existence of H+ and H- quasi-ions in steels, experimental data on the behaviour of these quasi-ions in the metal, as well as analysis of the published data on the local content and mass transfer of hydrogen, led to the conclusion of the different nature of the above quasi-ions, differing from each other by their behaviour inside the metal, nature of interaction with it, by the reaction to the impact of external factors, location in the iron crystalline lattice, etc. It is shown that quasi-ion H+ is a Bose particle and H- is a Fermi particle. H- has a superhigh mobility in the solid and is fixed as diffusion (diffusible) hydrogen in the metals. H+ is less mobile and is registered as residual hydrogen in the metal. The temperature of phase transition of hydrogen-Bose particle – hydrogen-Fermi particle was experimentally determined for steel 3. It is emphasized that hydrogen as Bose particle exists only within the solid and only as H-.

Composition on the Basis of Polyethylene. Influence of Nature of Surface of Pirogenik Silica on Processes of Melting and Crystallization

Institute of Surface Chemistry NAS of Ukraine,
17, General Naumov Str., Kyiv, 03164, Ukraine,
E-mail: sap_miha@ua.fm

It is shown that surface modification of ultra – high – molecular – weight polyethylene particles (UHMWPE) by hydroxyl and carboxylic groups leads to changing in melting and crystallization parameters of interface layer at composite forming by sintering process. The presence of silica with hydroxyl groups in the composition cause the rising of melting beginning temperature by 3oÑ and melting temperature by 2oÑ, as compared to unfilled UHMWPE. At the same time, in the presence of silica with hydroxyl groups does not affected by melting beginning temperature, but it lead to rising of peak intensity respective for polymer crystallization in composite interface layer. The silica modification by grafting to its surface octyl groups cause the crystallization beginning temperature of UHMWPE and crystallization temperature in UHMWPE based composites to decrease by 4oÑ and by 2–9oÑ, respectively. The effect given is explained by weakening of interaction between polar groups and plastificizing influence of grafted octyl chain to crystal structure forming in interface layers of composite.

It was shown, that value of pim not corelates with microhardness H after Vikkers in all of glasses. Fluidity (plastic) limit s is more little than microhardness and maximal internal pressure pim.
Elastic constants and fluctuation free volume parameters in observed glasses largely depend on mean coordination number Zcp.

Results of Time-Frequency Analysis of Acoustic Emission Pulses Generated by Surface Partial Discharges in Air

Technical University of Opole, Poland

The subject matter of this paper covers the issues connected with the application of modern numerical methods in processing and analysis of the signals measured by the acoustic emission (AE) method during high-power experiments carried out in laboratory conditions in set-up modeling surface partial discharges (PDs) in air.
First of all, the paper presents the results of the time-frequency analysis of the AE pulses generated by PDs carried out using continuous (CWT) and discrete (DWT) wavelet transforms as well as a STFT transformation. Moreover, it presents the runs of the power density spectra and columnar diagrams showing the size of the energy transferred at the particular decomposition levels.
Keywords: time-frequency analysis, discharges, acoustic emission.
